Lather A Salon

Where we provide expert care for you and your hair.

DUE TO STATE REGULATIONS REGARDING THE ONGOING NOVEL CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN AND SEEING EXISTING CLIENTS ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING!

Lather A Salon began as an idea in a young hairdresser’s mind fifteen years ago. The idea was a simple one. A small space with great vibes and real people; where creativity and communication flows. A place where an exceptional service is always top priority; and trichologist and guest work together to design the perfect style, and a plan to maintain it every day at home. Where you can find real answers to your hair questions. And so, Lather A Salon was born...

We are a team based environment which caters to all ages, hair types, and textures, especially curls. From 2yrs to 102yrs, we will meet and exceed all your hair needs. Perfection is our journey.

Trichologist (Tri·cho·logist): From the Greek root “trichos” meaning hair. Trichologist refers to the experts at Lather A Salon, who have refined their craft through years of focusing their careers on the art of doing hair. Not to mention the extensive education they have received. Going to anyone else is like trusting your mechanic to wax your eyebrows.

UPDATE: Scheduling and Operating System Change!

Add a heading.png

Our first priority is, and always has been to best serve you our valued guest. In order continue to elevate our communication, scheduling, and ultimately our services, we are moving to a new operating system. Starting March 31, 2021 we will begin migrating to Meevo2, our new operating and booking system. During this transition, you may receive notifications regarding upcoming appointments that you have already previously scheduled. This may happen as we get those previously scheduled appointments input in to Meevo2. Don’t worry, that means we’re doing something right on our end! If the appointment notification differs from what you already have in your calendar, please let us know asap! If you know that you have a future appointment scheduled, and do not receive a notification in the next few days, please contact us asap so that we can be sure that everything looks right on our end. It may mean that we have outdated contact info for you, or that we need to update settings for you on our end. Additionally you will likely receive a “New Client Form” asking for your contact info etc.. Please fill out this form as completely as possible, this will help us to update our client list! Our online booking system will likely be unavailable for a few days as we complete this transition. When it comes back online, it will be in the new Meevo2 online booking platform. You will have to create a new login, and will likely have to input credit card information, and possibly pay a deposit in order to secure a booking. Credit card information is securely stored, and any and all deposits will be clearly explained prior to your booking. If a deposit is held, it will apply to your service total on the day of your appointment! Deposits help us as a company to safeguard against client no-shows, non-illness or emergency related last minute cancellations, and robo-bookings (that’s like a spam booking, made by a non-human computer that isn’t connected to a real person). I appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this big transition! Please stay tuned for more information, and guidance as we get everything back online!

XOXO,

Genevieve

Re-opening update

The ongoing Novel Coronavirus pandemic continues to evolve, and we have had to push back our reopen date several times. As of right now we are planning to re-open 6.1.2020. We will continue to monitor the recommendations of the state, local government, and the CDC and adjust as necessary. Thank you for your continued support and patience! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Temporary Closure Catches Local Media Attention

On 3.17.20 I announced that we would temporarily be closing in an attempt to help bend the curve in the ongoing Novel Coronavirus Pandemic. When I made the announcement, it caught local media attention and I had the opportunity to do a FaceTime interview with The Denver Channel & news. You can view the story titled “Colorado salon workers seek government help in wake of coronavirus-related closures” here!
