What Safety Protocols Will Be in Place at Lather?
The health and safety of our clients, team members, and their families have always been top priority. Even before the current Coronavirus Pandemic, our industry was held to strict sanitation and infection control guidelines. In addition to those standard guidelines, which our salon company will continue to adhere to, we have implemented some new protocols as well. Below is a list of many of the new and existing protocols which will be followed at Lather:
Our entire team has earned Barbicide disinfection certifications.
Team members will not be allowed in salon if they or anyone they've been in contact with are showing any signs of illness.
Team members will undergo temperature checks before entering the salon.
We will not be accepting new clients or walk-ins until further notice. All services will be by appointment only.
Your stylist will wear a new pair of gloves (whenever possible), a new smock, and a mask for your entire service.
Your stylist will be washing hands and using hand sanitizer A LOT (pretty much every time we touch anything)!
We will use single use, disposable (and completely biodegradable or recyclable, we are an eco conscious company after all) items whenever possible.
Re-usable items will be treated as single use and washed/disinfected between every client.
All tools and implements including combs, brushes, clips, shears, etc. will be cleaned and sanitized using EPA approved hospital grade disinfectant or a UV sterilizer before and between every client.
The entire room including high touch surfaces, door knobs, stations, chairs, shampoo bowls, carts, product bottles, and anything else you can think of will be disinfected before and between every client.
We have installed touch free devices wherever possible, think soap dispensers, sanitizer dispensers, light switches etc.
In order to maintain distancing and capacity requirements, we will service one client per stylist at a time (no double booking), and will be working split shifts to minimize contact.
6 foot physical distancing will be maintained whenever possible except during your service.
We will be running new air purifiers with patented PECO technology constantly. (For more information on our air purifiers click here)
We, like all of you continue to monitor the situation closely. We will continue to follow all CDC as well state and local health department guidance, and revise as necessary. We can't wait to see you all soon, and as safely as possible!
